The Station Centre is a voluntary cross-community organisation under the trusteeship of ‘Omagh Youth and Community Trust’ whose aims are to provide facilities to accommodate programmes of activities which enhance the social and educational ethos of all members of the community of Omagh.
Funding for this project is wholly dependent on the hire of the premises and charitable donations.
Youth programmes within the centre are provided by ‘Omagh Boys and Girls Voluntary Youth Club’ who were responsible for accessing part of the capital funding for the building of the centre. Founded in 1952, OBGC is a full time youth club with charitable status affiliated to the Education Authority (Western Division) and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Ireland.
Pre-schools and after school programmes are co-ordinated by the ‘Rainbow Community Playgroup’.
